The game asks for a name the first time you play — that name is what appears on the global board. Change it any time in the game's Settings.
How to play
- Two Players: pass one device back and forth. Scores are kept per grid size.
- Vs Computer: there is no difficulty menu. Win and it steps up a rung, lose and it eases off — from Warming up all the way to Impossible, which on 3×3 genuinely cannot be beaten.
- Play a Friend: tap it and you are in the lobby. Create room gives you an invite link to send; whoever opens it drops straight into the match. Keep someone as a friend by their six-character code and you can ring them directly.
- Bigger grids: 5×5 wins on 4 in a row and 7×7 on 5, because needing a full row makes a big board a guaranteed draw.
- Compete: rounds against the computer and online both feed the global leaderboard — today, this week and all-time — and unlock badges on the achievements page. Pass-and-play doesn't count: both players are you.
Keyboard
- Arrow keys move between cells, Enter or Space marks one.
- R resets the round in the local modes; Enter starts the next one.
- Esc closes settings, or declines an invite.
